The population reports provide information on the population from 2010 onwards. The population forecast reports provide the projections for 2021–2040.

Note! Some of the reports are subject to data protection measures. In that case numbers of 1-4 persons are shown as "1-4" and larger numbers are rounded to the nearest multiple of three. Percentages are calculated using the protected numbers.

Internal migration of populati​​on

These reports provide information on the education of persons aged 15 and over who live in Finland and whose region of residence has changed during the statistical year. Data is reported by the highest qualification attained by the individual, determined according to the level of education. If a person has attained more than one qualification at the same level of education, the most recent qualification is shown. If a person has completed the matriculation examination and a vocational qualification at the secondary level of education, the vocational qualification is shown.
