The reports on students in general upper secondary education and those who have completed the matriculation examination can be used to examine the number of new students, students and graduates. The information in the reports is updated annually and is based on data describing the situation provided by Statistics Finland on 20 September. Statistics Finland's data undergo the quality checks required by the Official Statistics of Finland (OSF).
